First Link Support Volunteer
We are looking for two compassionate individuals to make follow up, outreach calls to those living with dementia and their carepartners.    Long Term - 6 months to
1 year
Burnaby - North Fraser Resource Centre
Dementia Helpline Volunteers Our  Dementia Helpline provides assistance to callers from across BC.  We are looking for mature individuals who are comfortable answering questions over the phone.  Long Term - 1 year minimum Vancouver Resource Centre

Support Group Facilitators

A support group facilitator (or co-facilitator) facilitates a caregiver support group meeting, communicates with the local Support and Education Coordinator on a regular basis, maintains group attendance records and use Alzheimer Society materials to provide information to the group.

One-One Support Volunteers  We are recruiting for mature, interested and empathetic volunteers to assist with 1-1 support for caregivers and for  individuals living with Alzheimer's disease or a related dementia.  Long Term - 1 year minimum is requested Burnaby, Kelowna, Langley,  White Rock
Vancouver, Victoria

 
Volunteers play a key role in the delivery of this important new program. Long Term – 1 year minimum is requested Burnaby, Kelowna,  Nanaimo, Richmond, Vernon, Victoria

 
This fitness and social program for individuals experiencing early stage memory loss, requires an assistant to help coordinate set  up / take down and, most importantly, assist attendees with their participation.
 
Mid-term
3 to 6 months is requested

Resource Centre Office Assistance

Work alongside our Support and Education staff and provide general office assistance.  Long-term - 1 year minimum is requested Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Kelowna, Richmond, Vernon, Victoria, White Rock
