Each of the Walks is dedicated to an Honouree – a person who has been impacted by Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia.

This Investors Group Walk for Memories was dedicated to John Fearn.

Known for his sense of humour and love of people, John Fearn gave back to his community as president of the local football association. A long career in the relocation industry took him to many countries around the world. John was GM/VP of a well-known international moving company and has made his home in White Rock/South Surrey for over 30 years.

He and his wife Sharon have three children and in spite of John’s diagnosis of Early Onset Alzheimer’s in 2007 they continue to move forward enjoying life with family and playing golf with friends.

This is your opportunity to show John you care.

“Without the support, education and information from the Alzheimer Society, the transition to a life now impacted by Alzheimer’s would have been more difficult. John is proud to be this year’s Investors Group Walk for Memories honouree. He wants to keep moving forward, despite any challenges he might face,” said Sharon.
